The Classroom is designed to offer "lessons" and tutorials which explain the recommendations of best practices developed by the E-MELD advisors. In this area, you will find information on such topics as:

- Understanding the concepts behind, and the recommendations of best practices for, various documentation types:
- Learning how to encode, store and render best practice data using assorted technologies:
- Ethically making data available to more researchers in enduring formats using techniques for preservation:
The Classroom is updated regularly with the help of the E-MELD Advisors; however, standards change quickly. So if you have questions that these pages do not answer, remember that you can contact E-MELD or consult the "Ask-An-Expert" panel.
